How cool do you look if you have blue headlights on your car? They're so unusual, everyone has to look, right? Right! Just remember, "everyone" includes the police. One thing to remember about blue headlights: they are not legal, so if you use them, you are almost certain to get a ticket for having them.

Also, Gwinnett County DUI attorneys might add, you should always avoid doing anything else illegal, such as driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol. And it's especially unadvisable if you are driving a car that says to police "please stop me!"

University student Rohit Kumar Pathak, 20, was arrested and charged with DUI and driving with prohibited blue lights on his vehicle. His passenger, Mohit Kumar Pathak, 18, was also arrested and charged with possession of marijuana.

The arresting officer observed a vehicle with solid blue lights illuminated above each headlight at the exit of the Oglethorpe House Dining Commons Lot on the University of Georgia campus.

The officer noted that the car was only traveling about 15 to 20 mph. He finally initiated a traffic stop near Boggs Hall.

The officer smelled a strong odor of burnt marijuana and "extremely minty chewing gum" coming from Rohit as he was questioned about the blue lights on his vehicle.

After conducting several field sobriety tests, Rohit was placed under arrest for DUI.

A "partially smoked marijuana cigarette" was found in a book bag during a search of the vehicle. Because Mohit said the marijuana belonged to him, he was placed under arrest.
