Gwinnett Co. reckless driving incident precedes second fatal crash
A man remains in intensive care at an Atlanta hospital after a recent accident in which he lost control of his car while traveling west on Ga. 347 and hit a cement mixer. His young son died in that crash.
That incident followed another serious accident involving the man, 37-year-old Matthew Boozer of Buford, that occurred in Gwinnett County in May, which resulted in collisions involving multiple cars and injuries sustained by other drivers. Boozer was charged with a number of traffic offenses in that incident, including reckless driving, hit-and-run, failure to maintain his lane, failure to stop at a red light and serious injury by vehicle.
